Isolation Gowns: Made of fluid-resistant material. They are designed to protect the arms and torso. They are the most common type of gown for routine patient care.
Surgical Gowns: Required for sterile procedures. They are made of a higher-grade, fluid-impermeable material and are longer than isolation gowns, offering more coverage. They are packaged in a sterile manner.
Coveralls (or "Bunny Suits"): Provide full-body protection, covering the torso, limbs, and sometimes the head and feet. They are used in high-risk situations, such as caring for patients with highly infectious diseases (e.g., Ebola).
